These day shows are ideal for Schools, Community groups, Bus and Coach tours:

This indoor facility is an Audio Visual education centre set up for the prime purpose of educating your understandings of the infinite Universe.

For schools, we can also cover any aspect of the Solar System and Universe that fits into the National Science Curriculum.
All our programs can be custom made to fit the level of learning the kids have reached with their teacher.

During a sunny day, we will show you a LIVE image of the Sun projected onto the big wall screen similar to the photo at left.
You will see on the big screen, the flaming surface of the Sun, prominences and sunspots.
We have the only working public solar telescope in the State!

Whether it's a school, a community based group or a social group by car, bus or coach, we can start anytime that suits your schedule.

We even have free camping, a hired kitchen with BBQ and coin operated hot showers for these groups who have South Burnett Regional Council written permission.

• We will be running a special Day show for this beginning at 8am and concluding at 3pm.

• During this time you will see a large black dot silhouetted against the Solar disc. You will also see the surface of the Sun as shown above!

• We will also have Solar Glasses that give a nice, orange colur view of the solar disk.
  

• Out on the Observation Deck adjoining the Star Theatre, our big 14 inch telescopes with the same material will allow you view and or take pictures of the Transit.

• If its cloudy, we can't show you the Sun up close on the big screen.
