  • Bright Stars: Alderbran in Taurus, Canopus in Carina, Sirius in Canis Major, and Alpha Crucis in Crux (Sth. Cross)
  • Deep sky objects like NGC 253 - Silver Coin galaxy in Sculptor; NGC 2070 - 'Tarantula' nebula and NGC 104 - 47 Tucanae - a bright Globular cluster.
  • Messier objects: M42- Great Nebula in Orion, Open Clusters: M41 in Canis Major and M46 in Puppis, M45 Pleaides (aka Seven Sisters) in Taurus.
