• Starts at 9am in the Star Theatre for Theory and concludes at 5pm.

• At 7pm we recommence at the Observatory for a 4 hour session under the stars using telescopes, star maps etc, If you have a telescope bring it along.

• This 12 hour one day course covers such things as: Optics, Stars, Magnitude, star formation, Deep Sky, Astro-Photography, star map reading, Constellation identification etc.

• You will need to bring a notebook, pens, some smoko and lunch (although this can be obtained from the local store in town).

• Full course includes a comprehensive set of notes and a good quality Planisphere.
