- The 65-seater building offers not only a full 1 hour
audio/ visual presentations of the Solar System and the Universe.
- The centre is also used as a back-up to cloudy nights to
the stargazing sessions.
- On a sunny day one can see a live image of the Sun projected
onto the screen from a NEW telescope/filter/camera concept - the only one of its type in Qld if not in Australia.
- Show times are
2pm Thursdays to Tuesdays (Wednesdays by appointment). Schools can book
for whatever time and day of the week suits them.
- This facility is also an ideal stopover for Bus/Coach Tours who are
looking for something different to do on their Day or Weekend tours of
the South Burnett. Group rate applies.
Combined Day and Night Session
2pm Thurs.- Tues. (daytime on Wed. by appoint.)
Night shows at 7pm 7 nights a week.
