Maidenwell Hotel has 3 rooms - sleeps six.
- Heaps of FREE space at the rear of the pub for tents, caravans and motorhomes.
- Pig on Spit - last Saturday of each month at 6pm. No go for Feb. 25 (Cooyar Show)
- Meals served Wed. to Sunday. Lunch 12 to 2pm and dinner 6pm to 8pm.
- Bookings over 10 persons or more required for dinner meals on Monday and Tuesday nights.
- If you are booked into the Observatory then you must be at the hotel at or before 6pm.
The sooner you place your order, the sooner you will have your meal in time to start at the Obs. at either 7pm during Autumn/Winter and 7.30pm during Spring/Summer.
FREE 48 hour stop-over for CAMPING for Caravans, Motorhomes and campers under the trees next to the hall and store.
2kms to Coomba Falls waterhole.
Do not camp on the town's Sport Field without SBRC written permission. See below.
The Maidenwell Sports Field (pictured below) is NOT a public camping area.
South Burnett Regional Council will fine those camping on the field without written permission.

Motorhomes, caravans, social clubs, schools and community groups wanting to camp over as part of their Observatory visit, must have a this FORM from the South Burnett Regional Council and carry a current Public Liability policy.
For those groups approved by SBRC we have on site, $2 coin operated showers on site.
A modern self contained kitchen including an outside BBQ is available for hire.

Bunyip Springs Farmstay.. Just 5 kms up the Bunya Mts. Rd from the Observatory, the local hotel and the Trading Post store/cafe.
Bunyip Springs Farnstay is where you can take the family for a holiday on real working farm and be so close to town and of course, the Observatory which is on the sports field behind the pub.
Bunyip Springs also take overnighters.

Meals 6am to 5.30m 7 days a week. Total seating capacity is 80. Fuel, provisions, papers, (no tobacco). Store can supply breakfasts to schools and community groups visiting the Observatory.

Nanango Caravan and Motorhome Park - Nanango Qld.
